Directions

Cut the avocado in half lengthwise. Remove the pit and scoop out the flesh. Place the avocado flesh inside a food processor along with 2 teaspoons of coconut oil. Pulse until creamy. Add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and pulse again. If necessary, add another tablespoon of coconut oil and/or lemon juice until the consistency resembles whipped cream. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and stir in ½ teaspoon of sea salt. Use immediately or refrigerate for up to 3 days. To remove hardened bits of avocado, place the mixture back in the blender and blend briefly before using. Store leftover mixture in the refrigerator.
