Gingivitis is an inflammation of the gums caused by the build-up of dental plaque which causes the gums to swell and bleed. To treat this oral problem, there are several natural remedies that you can easily prepare at home.

Dirty water

Make a mouthwash with a mixture of a glass of water and a tablespoon of salt every night before going to sleep. You can add a few drops of lemon or lavender essential oil.

Baking soda

Rinse your mouth with a mixture of water and baking soda (a teaspoon in a glass of water) to relieve the inflammation. Repeat the operation 3 times a day.

Ginger

Pound ginger roots and rub the resulting paste into your gums to reduce inflammation and relieve pain. You can add honey to the ginger paste.

Sage

Infuse sage leaves and use the resulting solution as a mouthwash, 3 times a day.

Lemon

Boil some lemon juice with water, let cool, then gargle with this solution twice a day.

Aloe Vera gel

Rub Aole Vera gel directly on the areas to be treated to relieve pain and bleeding.

Cloves
